Canada Water to Blackheath Start/finish Canada Water Library (Deal Porter Square, opposite Canada Water Station, SE16 7AR) Plan is to do a ride to Greenwich via the Thames Path.  Then into Greenwich Park and up the hill to the viewpoint next to General Wolfe. Follow this with a circuit of Blackheath.  Finally back to Canada Water, probably mostly on Quietway (Cycleway) 1.

start/finish Deal Porter Square, next to Canada Water Library, opposite Canada Water Station, SE16 7AR.  The annual trip to ride some of the procession route for the Lord Mayor’s Show.  There is a window after the roads are closed but before the floats and coaches get going.  Ride leader Werner is an expert at picking the right moment. Usually get to see a bit of the parade.  Lots of fun.

Ride to Trinity Buoy Wharf.  One of our favourite places for a coffee break and a nose around.  Michael Faraday was there!  Start/finish at Deal Porter Square, next to Canada Water Library, opposite Canada Water Station. Cross river by Greenwich Foot tunnel, up through the Isle of Dogs and Canary Wharf. Probably loop down to Barrier Park and take in Trinity on the way back.  Return via Tower Bridge. Canada Water, Sydenham and the Waterlink Way   January 11, 10:00 am - 12:00 noon  Meet Canada Water Library (Deal Porter Square, opposite CW Station, SE16 7AR) 10am and catch 10.08 am Overground train to Sydenham. The Overground is well-designed for carrying bikes and the lifts get you to the platform at Canada Water. Easy paced 2 hour ride to see how far we can get along the Thames path heading east. Thames path is now all open again after building work. Some of the best cycle track you will ever see, but also some very narrow bits.
